Re: Boeing C-17 Globemaster III (RAF)

In case anyone’s concerned by the omission of the C-17 on this image of the Illustrative Force of 2035 released today:

It was a mistake and there’s no plan to axe the C-17. The image will be updated. Source: This Tweet citing a senior RAF source

I've seen claims this is the most fifth gens at sea on a single flight deck ever. Is this true?

Re: Boeing E-7 Wedgetail (RAF)

Just a rumour but there might still be some truth in it, much like with the MBT leak (they're not all going to be scrapped but they're still being cut).

Re: Fort Rosalie Class Replenishment Ship (RFA)

Would anyone with a Shephard Media subscription be kind enough to confirm whether this article states Fort Rosalie is "awaiting disposal" or not? I'm hearing conflicting things.

Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion

The GROUPEX for Exercise Joint Warrior has been confirmed: HMS Queen Elizabeth, HMS Kent, HMS Diamond, HMS Northumberland, RFA Tideforce, RFA Fort Victoria, HNLMS Evertsen, USS The Sullivans and I'm guessing "HMS :shh:" in QE's Tweet refers to a RN sub too. Should be a sight to behold.

I think we’re beginning to veer a little too far away from the F-35 now chaps. Feel free to take your UAE discussion to the UAE thread and the Tempest-centric posts to the Tempest thread. Cheers.
