Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
Would the F35B be able to launch off the carrier without the use of the ramp if it started further back? Obviously how heavily it was loaded would make a difference, but is it possible?

Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
When will she set sail again once she arrives in port? Her first deployment isn’t scheduled until 2021, I believe, so more trials must be planned. I think I read somewhere that she will complete trials with F35s in UK waters. Is this correct and when will it be?

Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
When will the trials of F35s on the Prince of Wales start, will she undergo two sets of trials as the Queen Elizabeth has and, if so, will both sets of trials happen in the US?

Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
I hope not, I wouldn't fancy living near a floating nuclear reactor whose crew have a national average IQ of only 98. ;) You know the average IQ is a 100? 98 seems quite a reassuring number to me. Actually, average US IQ is 98, UK is 100 ;) Once the tests are standardised, the average score is 100....
