I totallllllly screwed up on my math (I was doing this very quickly!) 8 tubes * 4 = 48, not 24. That arsenal ship had 48 * 3 sets, granting it 288 tubes :) That's one mighty ship! Without CEC and a hanger though, it certainly handicaps its ability to carry out any missions other than strike and land...

Ok! It's finally complete. The Albion class hull could now be used as a base for an arsenal ship. I uploaded an example on Youtube where I use this base hull to create an arsenal ship with 72 VLS.

Oh that's a good idea. I can throw together a bay class or an Albion today. Maybe start it out with 96 VLS and you can add more from there. I'll let you know when it's ready!
