Was Britannia every used as a hospital ship? The "wrong fuel" issue was probably an excuse to keep a very high profile target out of the way (even if she was classed as a hospital ship, there was a fair chance that the Argentines would regard her as a legitimate target), as I have seen it...

According to the UK Defence Journal HMS Queen Elizabeth hit 32 knots on trials.

Has she been moving under her own power or is it still on the tugs? Left the Firth under her own power at just over 11 knots. Reduced to about 8 knots and is currently exercising off the mouth of the Firth. First heading NNW (340 deg), then SSE and now NNW again accompanied by HMS Sutherland. Edit,...
